Dr. Alex Jackson

Dr. Jackson is originally from Conway and a graduate of Greenbrier High School. He attended the University of Arkansas where he majored in Animal Science and minored in both Agricultural Education and Agricultural Business. He then graduated from the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine in 2019, where he received both his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and Master of Public Health degrees. Dr. Jackson worked in central Arkansas as an associate General Practitioner for 2.5 years before starting Cadron Creek Vet Clinic in Greenbrier. Dr. Jackson says the most rewarding part of being a veterinarian is “having the privilege to help the animals that bring us so much joy, live as healthy and happy as possible.” When Dr. Jackson is not at the clinic helping small animals, he enjoys traveling with his wife, working on his family’s cow/calf operation, and spending time outdoors with close friends and family. 

 
 

Dr. Lauren McKinstry

Dr. McKinstry is an Arkansas native, originally from Quitman. She attended Arkansas Tech University where she majored in Agricultural Business. She then went on to obtain her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri in 2017. She has practiced in Las Vegas,
as well as northwest Arkansas. Dr. McKinstry enjoys the challenges of internal medicine cases and the thrill of emergency medicine. Dr. McKinstry says the most rewarding part of being a veterinarian is "making a difference in someone's life by restoring the health of their beloved pet." When she is not at the clinic, she enjoys spending time with her two boys and husband, hiking, camping, and going to the lake. You may even catch her singing karaoke!
